The seventh and final round of the FFSA French F4 Championship was held at the world famous Circuit De Paul Ricard in France, a round that would see Doyle Parfait score his best finish of the year so far.
As usual, free practice and qualifying kicked off on Friday, landing Doyle Parfait P15 for races one & two, but P14 for race three. Pace was strong during race one, as after an impressive start, Parfait ran in the top ten for the majority of the race crossing the line in P11.
Race two also saw Parfait demonstrate his level headedness and racecraft, and was on track for a points finish until a communication issue with the safety car prevented him from doing so, finidhing P13 at the checkered flag.
But it was in race three, and the final race if the year that would see Parfait convert his speed into his first top ten, and points finish of the season. P9 would be the classification at the line after a hard fought battle, adding two valuable points to his 2023 tally.
The 2023 season now comes to a close, and an important preparation period over the winter break for whatever 2024 may have in store for both Doyle Parfait, and the rest of the French F4 grid.
