Circuit De Ledenon hosted the sixth and penultimate round of the 2023 French F4 championship, one which left a bittersweet taste for Doyle Parfait as the weekend concluded.
Like most tracks this season, Parfait had never tackled the challenging elevation of Lèdenon before testing on Thursday. Following a tough qualifying on Friday afternoon (P23), Parfait impressed in race one making up an astounding 11 places on his way to a P12 at the checkered flag, equaling his best result of the season.
Race two was a similar story, as Parfait made up ten places, featuring some impressive overtaking manoeuvres to finish in P13. Despite strong hope for a top ten finish in race three, a technical issue denied him an almost certain points scoring postion.
Looking forward to the final round of the year at the famous Paul Ricard circuit, Parfait will hope to end the year on a high with his first points of the season.
